How did you get started in design and photography? I first picked up a camera when I was five and immediately fell in love with capturing the world around me. I started exploring graphic design and videography in high school, eventually earning a bachelor’s degree in graphic design and media arts. With over ten years of experience, I continue to learn and grow in my craft every day.

What is your creative design process like? My process starts with a discovery call, where I get to know your goals, vision, and preferences. After that, I create initial concepts and work closely with you to refine them through two rounds of revisions. Once you're happy with the direction, I finalize the design or photos and deliver the final files or products.

Can I work directly with you on my project? Yes! When you work with Katie Wagner Creative Studio, you’re working with me directly. I handle all aspects of your project from start to finish, ensuring consistency and a personalized approach throughout.

How do you stay inspired and keep learning? Creativity is a lifelong journey, and I love exploring new trends, techniques, and ideas. How long does it take to complete a full branding project? The timeline for a full branding project depends on the scope of work and the number of assets needed. It typically takes anywhere from 4 to 8 weeks, depending on factors like complexity, the number of revisions, and current designer availability. We’ll discuss a timeline specific to your needs during the initial consultation.

What types of graphic design services do you offer? I offer a wide range of graphic design services to meet your business needs, including: Logo Design, Business Cards & Appointment Cards, Flyers & Brochures, Posters & Banners Social Media Graphics & Templates, Website Graphics & Banner Ads, Packaging Design, Invitations & Event Materials, Infographics, Presentation Design, Print Advertisements, Menus & Price Lists, Book Covers, Product Labels & Stickers, Merchandising & Promotional Items If you have a specific design need, feel free to reach out, and we can discuss how to bring your ideas to life!

What platform do you use for website design? I primarily use Wix for website design because it offers a wide range of customizable features that are perfect for creating visually appealing and functional websites. Wix is known for its user-friendly interface and flexibility, allowing me to tailor your site to match your brand identity effectively. It also includes built-in tools for SEO, analytics, and e-commerce, making it a great choice for businesses looking to grow online. Plus, Wix's responsive design ensures your website will look fantastic on any device.

Can I request revisions on my branding elements? Yes, each asset includes 2 rounds of revisions. If additional revisions are needed beyond that, there will be an additional cost. We'll ensure you're happy with the final result, but these initial revisions are included to refine the design to your liking.

How do you approach the design process? I begin with a discovery call to discuss your vision, goals, and specific needs for the project. Based on that conversation, I create initial concepts that align with your objectives. After presenting the concepts, I offer two rounds of revisions to refine the design based on your feedback. Once you're happy with the final design, I provide the finished files in the necessary formats for your use. This process ensures that the final design accurately represents your brand and meets your expectations.

Can you help with website content, or should I provide my own? I do not provide content unless you book a photoshoot with me for imagery. For the best results, I recommend hiring a business content writer to create compelling text once we finalize the layout of your website. This way, you can ensure the content aligns with your brand voice and effectively communicates your message.

Do you offer brand guideline documents? Yes, a style guide is included with logo packages and can be upgraded to a full brand guideline. A full brand guideline, which provides in-depth details about your logo usage, typography, color palette, and other key brand elements, is included with a full brand package.

Can you work within my existing brand guidelines? Yes! I can absolutely work within your existing brand guidelines. The more assets and information you can provide—such as logos, color palettes, fonts, and any other relevant materials—the better. This helps ensure consistency across all your design elements while aligning with your established brand identity.

Will the website be mobile-friendly and SEO-optimized? Yes, your website will be mobile-friendly, ensuring it looks great and functions well on any device. I also implement basic SEO practices to help improve your site's visibility in search engine results. For more advanced SEO strategies, I recommend working with a dedicated SEO specialist.

How does branding help my business stand out? Branding helps your business stand out by creating a cohesive and memorable identity that resonates with your target audience. A strong brand establishes trust, communicates your values, and differentiates you from competitors. How many rounds of revisions are included? Each project includes two rounds of revisions. If additional rounds of edits are needed, they can be requested for an additional cost. This ensures we have ample opportunity to fine-tune the design to your satisfaction.

Do you offer ongoing website maintenance? Yes, I offer ongoing website maintenance. We can establish a plan based on a monthly retainer that includes a set number of hours, or we can arrange maintenance on an as-needed basis. A monthly plan ensures my availability and dedicated time to keep your website running smoothly and updated.

How do I book a session, and what’s the process like? To book a session, simply visit the photography portrait sessions page on my website. Choose the session type that best fits your needs and fill out the provided form. Once you submit your request, I will contact you to confirm your session date, time, and location. It’s that easy!

What is a mini session? A mini session is a shorter photography session, typically lasting 10- 20 minutes, designed to capture a specific moment or theme. It’s perfect for families, couples, or individuals looking for quick, high-quality photos without committing to a full session.

What types of corporate photography do you offer? I offer a variety of corporate photography services, including product photography, executive headshots, team portraits, event coverage, and workplace culture shoots. My goal is to capture your company's professionalism and unique identity.

Where do the sessions take place? Currently, I have a home studio and a few on-location spots that I use for portrait photos. If you have a specific location in mind, feel free to let me know! Please note that mileage is charged for locations over 10 miles from my home studio.

How do I book a mini session? You can book a mini session directly through my website. Visit the mini session photography page, select your preferred date and time, and complete the booking form. Once you submit the form, your reservation is confirmed!

Can you accommodate on-site photography? Absolutely! I can conduct photography sessions at your office or any location of your choice. This approach allows us to capture your work environment and creates authentic imagery that reflects your brand's identity. Please note that I charge for mileage beyond 10 miles from my location.

How long will it take to receive my edited photos? The timeline for receiving your edited photos typically depends on the type of session and current workload. Generally, you can expect to receive your edited images within 2 to 4 weeks after your session. If you have a specific deadline in mind, please let me know, and I'll do my best to accommodate your needs!

What should I wear for my mini session? I recommend choosing outfits that reflect your personal style while considering coordinating colors or themes, especially if multiple people will be in the photos. Avoid busy patterns or logos that might distract from your faces.

Can I send you my products to photograph? Yes, you can send your products for photography! Once I receive them, I will arrange a session to capture high-quality images that showcase your brand effectively. Please ensure that your products are well-packaged and include any specific instructions for the shoot.

Can I order prints or other products from my session? Yes! You can order prints and other products directly from your client gallery shop. If you'd like to discuss available products or options before your session, just let me know, and I’d be happy to help!

What if the weather doesn’t cooperate? If the weather doesn’t cooperate for an outdoor mini session, I will select a new day and time for the sessions. If you're unable to attend, you can transfer your reservation to a different mini session on my calendar.

What is the turnaround time for receiving my photos? You can typically expect to receive your edited photos within 2-4 weeks after the shoot. I will provide updates throughout the editing process, and you will have access to an online gallery for easy viewing and downloads.

What is the process for planning a video shoot? The process begins with a discovery call to understand your goals and vision for the video. We’ll plan the details, including location, script, talent, and timeline, to ensure everything is in place for a successful shoot.

Can you work with footage I already have? Yes, I can work with any footage you provide and help edit it into a polished final product. Whether it's footage from an existing shoot or raw material you’ve captured, I can refine it to meet your vision.

Do you offer social media management or just design services? I focus exclusively on design services, but I offer monthly packages to help you create a cohesive look for your social media presence. I can assist in designing your social media calendar, allowing you to post content and stay engaged with your audience. If you prefer more comprehensive management, I recommend hiring a dedicated social media manager.

Can you help with both shooting and editing? Yes! I offer both videography services (shooting) and video editing. Whether you need full video production or editing of existing footage, I can help bring your project to life.

Do you offer options for different video formats and platforms? Absolutely! I can deliver your edited video in various formats suitable for different platforms, such as social media, websites, or presentations, ensuring that your video works across all your marketing channels.

What's included in a social media package? The contents of a social media package depend on the specific package chosen. Typically, it includes a monthly retainer for social media designs, animated videos, and a monthly call to discuss your focus and goals for the month. These packages can be customized to fit your unique needs and objectives.

Do you provide equipment for the shoot? Yes, I bring all necessary equipment for video shoots. If you have specific equipment preferences, feel free to discuss them with me!

Can you add music or sound effects to my video? Yes, I can add background music, sound effects, or voiceovers to your video to enhance its emotional impact and overall engagement. If you have a specific song in mind, please ensure that it has a commercial license for use. If you don't have a song, I can suggest music that fits your project and is licensed for commercial use.

Can you create custom templates for my brand? Yes, I can create custom templates tailored to your brand in Adobe Express or Canva. These templates can be used for social media posts on multiple platforms, making it easy for you to maintain a consistent visual identity across all your content.
